View Full Version : Crackdown on Nigeria TV miracles

Nigerian broadcasters are no longer allowed to show miracles on television in a way which are not "provable and believable", say the authorities.
The National Broadcasting Commission says television stations which fail to abide by the ruling will be fined, and their equipment could be confiscated.

Fine. If they just crack down on those Spam Scams we keep on getting, then we'll be okay.

Most likely we will soon be geting something along the lines of the following:
My brother is a former TV mirical worker. Unfortunetly he has been arrested and had his accounts frozen. I have herd that you are a man of god and I am sure etc etc

I understand Nigeria is highly supersticious, will this new measure be beneficial (i.e. stop feeding these supersticions)?

As opposed to an infliction done by the that christian god, or Zeus, Vishnu, Amataratsu, Thor, Freya...?
