According to ABC Australia, no-one was hurt. Seems like they were tipped off before the bombs went off. Weird days.

Yeah, apparently bomb thread was called in hours before. Weird, wonder what message they are sending.
I also fear for the safety of olympic athletes this year.

Not Al-Queda then, or their members in Greece aren't so bloodthirsty.
Either way, not a good omen for the games.

Nope, not the style of OBL. Probably home grown, especially considering that the target was a police station.

Well, at least the follow-up is good news.
Yeesh. If someone just wanted to make a statement, aren't there easier and better ways?

A press-release works just fine.

According to radio news this morning, Greek anarchists are suspected to be the perpetrators. It is assumed that they want to prevent to Olympics from taking place.

It's quite common for leftist groups to plug self-made bombs in banks and police stations and always warn before the bombs are exploded. I don't think that this has anything to do with the network of international terrorism.

It's amazing how slow the TV media is compared to the internet. I watched the news this evening, and they said, "reports are coming in that this may be the work of local extremists, and not Al-Qaeda".
I'm all like, duh, I've known that since this morning. That's like, so eight hours ago...
