It's a news update on SWIFT (www.randi.org), but the link provided there goes to an obit on Christopher Hitchens. Here's a link about Almaguer:

She has apparently removed the 'blog post in which she said she'd take the challenge.

Prominent psychic says she'll take the challenge and then quickly backs out? How is that even news? Well, I guess Sylvia Browne's been slowly backing out for years.

Time will tell.

My guess is she'll bail with a lame excuse but continue to rake in the bucks.

Based on her removal of the 'blog post, it looks like she's already bailed with no excuse at all.

Here is another site that contains a reference to the acceptance http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/264703/20111209/missing-baby-lisa-irwin-update-psychics-trusted.htm

In an effort to defend her self-proclaimed skills, Almaguer has agreed to participate in the "Million Dollar Psychic Challenge" run by The James Randi Educational Foundation (JREF). The Challenge offers $1 million to celebrity "psychic mediums" if they can prove their abilities in controlled experiments. Psychics have failed to find a number of missing persons and the Challenge is meant to find scientific prove proving or denying the existence of "psychic powers."
