Got the following email at StopSylvia, with the subject "Well"
I think your site is a joke...you are ill? REALLY? Sounds like you just ran put of **** to talk about. Do us all a favor and pull it down. You are doing more harm than good.

and it deserves a reply in kind. I suggest this quote from The Dude.
"Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man. "

My reply:
Mr. -[nme]
Thank you for sharing your thouhts with me.
Yes, I am ill. One of the more recent articles on the site (titled something like "What Happened ToThis Site?") has the details, should you be inerested.
If by "****" you mean examples of Browne getting things wrong, nope. Her prdiction about Sadaam Hussein was proven wrong a few months ago, and I have several more examples of readings she gave on the Montel Williams Show which were later proven wrong.
Admittedly, the demise of The Montel Williams Show, along with her no longer appearing on Larry King Live or George Noory's Coast To Coast makes finding her blunders a bit more problematic, but it also means that far fewer people are being exposed to her lies, so I'm fine wth that.
You say my site is doing harm. How exactly is it doing that?
I have no intention of taking the site down.
Best regards,
Robert S. Lancaster

Robert,
In your reply you say that Sylvia's prediction concerning Saddam Hussein was proven wrong a few months ago. Did you mean Hussein? He's been dead some time now.
Perhaps you meant someone else like Gaddafi?

Define "near future". :D
I have given up on posting estimates here as to when I will be updating my sites. It serves no purpose other than to disappoint others (and myself) when they are not met.
Or, to paraphrase Dilbert: 'i love deadlines! i love the whooshing sound they make as they fly past."
More to the point, I am currently working on resurrecting my old playing-card web site.
I know many here would rather I focus on my Stop sites first, but the card site is dear to me as well. And, since it is the simplest (in terms of design and coding), i hve started with it to reawaken my web design and construction knowledge. Once it is in place, I will be moving on to my skeptical sites, where I will continue to rebuild my web design and construction skillset.
In the meantime I am roughing out the articles I hope to be adding.
Sorry I can'tbe more specific than that, but thanks for your interest.
And thanks for being more tactful than one of my StopSylvia email correspondents who wrote this morning. In an email with the Subject "R u Ded?", he wrote

That'd be Douglas Adams.
And I couldn't agree more. First feel comfortable with the tools, then work on the site again. Half-baked serves no one.

Ah, right. First time I read it was in a Dilbert. Dunno if it was attributed or not.

I was thinking along those same lines:
Thank you for your concern regarding my recent illness. You will be pleased to know that my recovery is going along nicely.

The problem being that Browne is a more common last name than Santorum.
