Got this email on StopSylvia.com, with the subject "ex-fan of Sylvia's:

Dear Robert and Sue,

Today for some reason I did a search on Sylvia browne and found your

website. I have no interest in her so-called services/abilities anymore and a

lot of regrets for the interest I had years ago. I have had two readings with

her and one with her son Chris, all on the phone. I am embarrassed to think

of the money I have spent on them both in search of "something" and got

"nothing".

All of these reading took place in the 1990's within a 3 year span. At the

time , the readings ranged from 75.00 to 150.00 each for 20 minutes. While

that does not seem to be much by her standards today, it was exorbitant

back in the day. I cannot even fathom the idea that she would have the

gaul to charge what she does now or back then.

To make a long story short, she was not right on one thing she "read" about

my past, present (at the time) or my future. She predicted a marriage to

someone specific to me and two children, a girl and then a boy (she even

described what they would look like as well as their personalities), and her

words were, and I QUOTE..".I would bet my house on this" (the marriage and

children). So as I see it, she owes me her house!! When I had the reading

with her son Chris, he told me the same things Sylvia did, almost verbatim.

So I have to wonder if he simply listened to her recording of our session, or

read a transcript, it was that eerie!

Needless to say, I have since destroyed any and all of her books ad tapes I

once had. In my humble opinion, she and Chris are frauds and pure evil for

some of the false hope she gives to people suffering emotionally with

tremendous losses, etc. That is just down right cruel and then to add insult

to injury, she has not a problem taking their money, hundreds of dollars later

they are left with more grief. Absurd!

Feel free to contact me if you wish at [Email address] (my name is

[Name] and I wish to remain anonymous to all but you) Thank you so

much for your website. Sincerely, [Name] in [City]

I have yet to reply, but it is gratifying to hear that the site has evidently

helped her to free herself of belief in Browne and her philosophy.

Never question whether or not you've done any good on this, Robert. Trust me. You did.

The letter itself is good (ex-fan) and of course sad (it took 3 readings to get there).

But the readings ranged from $75.00 to $150.00 for 20 minutes in the '90s (?).

My first reading with Browne was in 1988 (give or take a year) and cost $400. In those days they were in the office, face to face, and mine lasted 45 minutes. It doesn't seem likely that the readings would have gone down in price in the 1990s, especially when those are the years she was on Montel and on the rise. Even in the late '80s they were much more expensive than this.

Maybe she/he is referring to the cost of a reading with Chris and has forgotten what it actually cost to have a reading with Sylvia?

Anyway, here she is commenting on the exorbitant price when in fact it would have been a lot more exorbitant than that. Faulty memory?

At any rate she's better off remembering it as she does or she'd feel even worse. :)

I hate to bust your bubble on this one Robert.

But.

She evidently freed herself from her beliefs years prior and was simply reminded of her old beliefs after stumbling across your site.

Robert, I have sent both stopsylvia.com and stopkaz.com to so many people. Most didn't buy into Sylvia in the first place and they applauded the well researched approach that you took with both these sites.

A lot of them didn't know about "Kaz DeMille" and were furious to know this woman is scamming so many people.

What's truly amazing here is that she fell down without impaling herself on her fingernails or burning her house down with a cigarette.
