View Full Version : Bomb Van?

I've heard a few times from conspiracy theorist that on 9/11 Police found a van full of explosives somewhere, and also pulled over one with a mural of aircraft flying into buildings on it.
Anyone know anything about this?
There is a section in this video which talks about it;

There is a demolitions company in NYC that had a mural of the NYC skyline and an aircraft on their vehicles long before 9/11. There is video of it in one of the shots of the second strike somewhere near Murray Street.
I never heard any reliable accounts of a truck or van blowing up off site.

Don't have time to watch the video right now, so I'm not sure if this is going to be helpful, sorry, but I did cover some of these reports here (http://www.911myths.com/index.php/A_truckload_of_explosives).

I heard somewhere that the van that the dogs reacted to was owned by a landscaper.
Dogs are trained to sniff for nitrates.
Landscapers have a legitimate reason to haul tons of nitrates per year.

Ah, I see Mike's already linked you to it.
Here's more of the recording, it starts off with some kind of report of exploding remote control planes..(!) and is rather confused
There is also a synopsis of it in the 2003 MTI report 'Saving City Lifelines: Lessons Learned in the 9-11 Terrorist Attacks'. MTI stands for the Mineta Transportation Institute. It was formed in 1991
While some truthers erroneously claim that Norman Mineta made the statements, the report was authored by Brian Michael Jenkins and Frances Edwards-Winslow, Ph.D., CEM, not Mineta.
'Restoring OEM's Functions
There were continuing moments of alarm. A panel truck with a painting of a plane flying into the World Trade Center was stopped near the temporary command post. It proved to be rented to a group of ethnic Middle Eastern people who did not speak English. Fearing that it might be a truck bomb, the NYPD immediately evacuated the area, called out the bomb squad, and detained the occupants until a thorough search was made. The vehicle was found to be an innocent delivery truck.'

yea the NYPD saw a van blow up but no indication as to why. Why would someone mention remote control plane filled with explosives or is it in another place in the city?
