Just wanted to let you know that, unfortunately, I won't be able to make the conference. A business trip came up and won't be able to attend. :(

I was looking forward to meeting all of you, and to hear in person your gripes about the website and forum. ;)

I can't make it either. I registered for TAM a few months ago but I'm saving to buy a house and I've realized that I need to save all
I can because the house prices around here are going up as fast as the hand of an audience member on "Crossing Over" when John Edward says "I'm getting something from a Jim or a John or something starting with J." I couldn't bring myself to actually decide not to attend TAM so I just put it off and put it off until at this point it's too late and expensive to go anyway.

But there are plusses. The JREF can keep my registration fee and use it to further their work. And when I do buy a house then I can itemize on my taxes, thus allowing me to effectively donate more money to the JREF. And I can always harangue TAM attendees on Paltalk to get every detail on what happened at TAM.

All, I am really sorry about this. I very much wanted to attend, but it was unavoidable.

If anyone is arriving early and would like to meet me, I can go to the JREF on Thursday evening for the radio show. Let me know on this forum or via email and I will make arrangements. I have a 7 AM flight Friday morning, so I probably can't stay very late, but I would like to meet anyone that is early.

Luke, the JREF is a client. A very special client to be sure, but (you can ask Linda) they certainly do not generate enough revenue to cover my office's internet connection costs every month, let alone my other office expenses, mortgage, food, phone, home internet, utilities (you get the picture)... but hey, my car is paid off! I need other clients to make all my bills, so play time gets sacrificed on occasion. This, unfortunately, is one of those occasions.
