Heard an amusing story on Marketplace yesterday
http://www.marketplace.org/shows/2003/03/12_mpp.html
Apparently, traders believe the war is coming and as they think US will win, the sanctions will be lifted and development will go strong, the Baghdad exchange is doing great. It is up nearly 50 percent in just 7 months. They interviewed the director of the exchange, who said this is an outpouring of patriotism, but all the traders they interviewed on the floor indicated they are looking ahead to after the war.
