Another way of testing homeopathy

Quite a few homeopathic remedies are prepared from toxic substances but all these remedies have antidotes listed for them so if we prepare some of their more toxic stuff at 1X and then get them to drink it then take one of their antidotes we will be able to test one element of thier cliams. Of course getting this past an ethic comittte would be tricky....

Talking about ethics committees...I recently read about Dr. Edward Jenner, and his testing of the smallpox vaccine basically by using a healthy boy as a guinea pig. Also, remember the little boy Albert that Watson conditioned into fearing white rats and all white furry things?

I am quite glad thay have ethics committees these days. I really appreciate the scientific work that Jenner and Watson have done, but imagine them doing that on your children!

Since people survived cowpox all the time, then testing a known safe substance on your kids is really not that appalling. He knew he'd rather his kid have the cowpox virus first instead of the smallpox virus first. He just showed showed the naysayers how safe it was.
