A heroic British capitalist pledges allegiance to the United States (http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=6654).

It appears that the leftist British media, in an effort to attack Blair for simply wanting to assist in the cause of freedom, ignores the tens of millions of British voices just like that outstanding gentleman in the article. Instead, they throw up images of sophomoric, emotional pro-commie leftist "marches" so they can try to make the populations of Britain more leftist and attack the British spirit.

Your kind of guy, eh, JK? It was no surprise that the article was on Horowitz's web site. Seems as if he, too, feels that anyone who disagrees with him is a rotten left-wing commie or a coward.

LOL...I dont need the evil commie leftist newspapers to tell me the opinion of the English. My relatives from GB rant to me over MSM about my choice of a Texan lass. Dear god-they are rabidly anti american. Went so far as to invite some poor english girl on there to talk with me. Sad Sad Sad.
The only Brit i know thats pro US is my own father-and even he doesnt beleive Bush's crap. The thing he feels(and I agree with him here) is that if we back off now we are allowing Iraq to build up. What does that tell the world? Although secretly, I think he just hates the French.
With work...my father and I came to an agreement. Screw Iraq. We can scare em into line with a demonstartion of our power. Lets attack France instead.

There is nothing wrong with calling things as they are, right? That is what truth is all about.

Depends upon which version of the "truth" you're talking about.

There is only one version of the truth unless you are into Orwell.

Of course. How could I have ever missed that? Frederick Orwell has never been one of my favorite composers anyway.

I can't find anything in that piece that indicates that the writer supports Blair or Bush. He's praising America and the American people, whose righteous anger over unjustified aggression by strong nations in Europe and Asia against those who posed no threat to them helped preserve the free world.

I am one person, but there are millions like me who thank the USA and wish your nation and your people all the best over the next few months -- and will be there by your side when the times get tough.

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he means that he hopes that Bush gets over his war mania and doesn't drag the US into the least justified war since Ronnie deluded himself into believing that 300 Cuban CBs in Grenada were a threat to the US.
