I have listened to the Randi Radio archives, and I want more. I don't really like the format they had before, mainly because I am interested in hearing Randi talk, not in listening to some other guys trying to kill time.
If Randi did this once a month, and had great guests on like Hyman, Shermer, Dawkins, etc, it would be great.

Yes, i agree! I would really enjoy more of the radioshows. Does anyone know why Randi stopped doing them? Lack of time maybe, or too few listeners?
If - by any chance- the radioshows is restarted i have some pointers to the studio:
Dont bother about video. Three guys sitting and chatting doesnt make a great visual experience -even if a second camera shows our hero close up a few seconds now and then. Use the bandwidth for good audio instead.
Do not speak more than one at a time.
We dont really care if its live or recorded. I didnt think that listeners realtime feedback was ever that important. Better record it and avoid some of the technical problems that has haunted the shows.
Do some audiotests and learn microphone discipline, you know: not talking turned away from the mic or with the mouth in close contact with it, like
"mumblmumbl...silence...WRRHAAACHHRRZZRRRR..."

Just in case you don't know about this other Internet Broadcast archive (http://clear-light.msspro.com/radio-randi.html).
Well, now you know about it for sure!

I think the radio show was stopped because it was affecting Randi's health a bit (he's getting on a bit you know)
On the up side, Hal mentioned to me that they were considering doing a pre-recorded broadcast in the daytime (so Randi can take it a bit more leisurely)
Any news on that Hal/JREF people?
