And just like that Yahoo Mail Service decided to increase the storage capacity from 10 to 100MB.
These are great news for those of us who use yahoo accounts for the yahoo groups.
Thanks Google.
Ohhh I love so much capitalism, competition and free market.:)
As of June 15, 2004, you'll enjoy the following benefits:
* Increased storage capacity – from your current level to 100MB
* Increase in total message size to 10MB
* A streamlined interface that's even easier to use

But it's been acting VERY slow today. At least for me.

S-L-O-W for me, too. I hope that's a bug, not a new feature.

I received a warning at about midnight that my mailbox was full. I was allowed -2048 KB, and was using 0 KB.
Seems to be working other than that.

They gave me 2 GB. Yahoo teaming up with SBC wasn't such a bad thing after all. :D

And the email wars continue, as Hotmail just announced they're increasing storage space to 250MB:

I can invite three people to use gmail. If anybody is interested post it here or let me know by PM. Needless to say that I won't choose. The first three that will show interest will just get it.

My hotmail account has been upgraded to 250 MB recently, and it makes a huge difference. It was so irritating to have my account blocked as soon as someone sends me a photo or mp3.

You can get GMail at this address:
isnoop.net (http://isnoop.net/gmailomatic.php)
You must be patient and persistent but don't flood (it knows). It's where I got my GMail account from although it took some time.
A handy tip is to have your email address ready to paste. By the time you have typed it in, the available invites have usually gone.
Good luck.
