View Full Version : Ideas needed for convincing Allies

14th March 2003, 01:52 PM
The US, Great Britain and Spain are holding a "summit" (lol!) to think of ways to convice other nations to back the war.

Let's help them out. Anyone got any ideas?

Here's one. 1000 hours of free AOL for everyone if they'll go along!

Free passes to EuroDisney Land for any leader who joins up, if France agrees to military action.

If France doesn't agree, offer to bomb EuroDisney, and rebuild it in any country that joins the coaliton.

Offer sex to the French?!!! That is like offering snow to an Esquimo!

How about promise not to "accidentally" bomb their embassies.

Well, I think Jean Cretien used to be a catholic alter boy when growing up, so he may be used to that sort of thing.

[After so many years of progressive "therapy"--some of which does rather border on the edge of "acceptable" by the Geneva Convention--we find our charge huddled in a small corner babbling to himself.

While this state does appear an improvement over his normal state of pretentious pompous pedantry, we have also noted that he has exhausted our supply of finger-paint rendering portraits of some French person with "X" through them.

We remain uncertain why this Frenchmen is dressed in lingere.

We also remain uncertain what the dinosaur is doing.

Any information that would assist in resolving this situation will be appreciated.

We could offer them the antidote to the "mysterious disease" that is now spreading.

There has never been any shortage of ideas. The problem is, however, that this is not a brainstorming session for a new movie or salty snack.

what is needed is a consistent set of ideas that can endure beyond a few weeks and hence appear to be solid and reliable.

It is too late now,

But I think GWB would have more allies if he had Bill Clinton on his team.

GWB is not too good at building consensus, however BC sure is!
