Here comes another (http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_829627.html?menu=news.quirkies).
What is with these judges?
And what is with reporters who use expressions like 'head judge' and 'penal inquiry' when reporting on them?

And what is with reporters who use expressions like 'head judge' and 'penal inquiry' when reporting on them? I agree. Of course, I realize that it must get pretty dull just sitting up there behind the bench all day. But do you really have to resort to self-gratification in open court? I mean, there are so many non-sexual ways to ward off courtroom boredom: pounding your gavel; going through the counsels' briefs; persuading the plaintiff to drop his suit; wondering if the defense attorney will get her client off; trying to see how stiff you can make your sentence, etc.
