Already we are hearing reports about oil wells being rigged, scuds being aimed at israel, and other preparations Saddam is making for war. I think this demonstrates why he must be removed. What happens when Saddam gets the bomb? It will be too late to do anything but appeasement. Once he aims a nuke at israel, he will hold all the cards.

This is the point in human history that proactive intervention may be the only way to save the human race. We live in very interesting times.

I agree totally. Only a psychotic would prepare to fire back as his country is invaded. He probably already has some kind of Doomsday Device which will destroy all human and animal life on earth. Later on today I am going over to foam the runway at the county airport.

Bit he has no scuds! They are prohibited!

He won't blow up his oil wells, he's a very nice man.

Disguise our troops as Blix and El Barrathingy and infiltrate them in one at a time.

More seriously, I think he is a genius at deception, however I think militarily he is a clown. He has divided the country up into four zones, each run by a buddy and charged with fighting to the death effectively. That will be 3 out of four that surrender almost immediately then, leaving just the Bahgdad zone.

My money is on him being shot by one of his own.

Fine body of men, the Iraqi army......

Reginald, you're so right. This bloke is a master at prevarication. He's been at it since the gulf war and before. He leaves everything to the last moment then expects everyone to accept his motives are pure. I was bitterly disappointed he survived the first lot and my emotions tell me we should just get on with it and kill him. I know a lot of people on both sides are gonna get hurt, many of them innocent, but this man has to go. If it takes a war to do then so be it.

The tech control site I work at is right next door to CBS. I heard a bunch of sirens outside and saw two armored limos and a $hit load of cops show up. They went down a back alley, our windows in the tech control on the 2nd floor overlook the alley. So I stand there (windows dark 'cause we don't turn on lights back there over the weekend) and saw very professional secret service guys taking up position...out from the second limo pops Dick Cheney.

I thought...gee...Dick Cheney...the guy who's whereabouts no one's supposed to know! Then I realise that the secret service guys...all of 'em....not a damn one made me in my dark window. That was when it dawned on me that these guys are so friggin serious that if they looked up and saw me there...where they didn't expect me...that they might over react, or at least get pissed enough to f**k with me. They didn't look like the kinds of guys that would enjoy a surprise, and I sure had found a nasty little gap in their security coverage. So I backed off the window and left it the hell alone. Went back to my workstation and turned on CBS...there's ole Dick on Face the Nation. Right next door. Gee, I love this town. Always something interesting going on. :D ;)

I see it as a window of opportunity that Bush can't resist. At no other time will he be able to do what he's doing and get away with it. Our enemies are not in a position to effectively stop us, and the little countries aren't tough enough to fight back significantly. Small-minded men plus ambition is a deadly combination.

Sure they can win. They can gas every living thing in Baghdad just as American troops enter the city as Saddam slinks out the back door. Then hecan go live in the mountains and be interviewed by Al Jazeera and the world's lefties about how the Evil Imperialists murdered the Iraqi people.

Mostly they're just cowards. But then terrorists are sorta cowardly so it's a tit for tat situation. But primarily trained military doesn't engage in the cowardly act of terrorism. Which explains the lack of a Palestinian army

Made using Cobalt Thorium G.

Yes, but the... whole point of the doomsday machine... is lost... if you keep it a secret! Why didn't you tell the world, eh?

Reggie;

Better apply for the Randi $1 Million - I think you could win it on the strenght of this post alone.

They ARE INDEED worthless cowards. How can they be otherwise w/ the fine martial example set by their fearless leader. He is a clown - the majority of his soldiers are little good for more than dress-up - even the RG won't put up much of a fight I predict.

Hey do these opinions piss you off UP??

One wonders.

A strategy that he will no doubt use is this. As soon as a Mosque is damaged, and he will make sure of that, by placing missile lunchers or whatever right next to one, he will send pictures to Al Jazeera and the rest of the world and say, "See this is a war against Islam!!!"

How does being a coward stop you from being a terrorist? Most terrorists seem to go for soft targets, which to my mind by definition makes them cowards. qed.

My turn!

They can;t seem to do any good for their country of reginal community either.

Sympathy for thugs, huh?

If your Iraqi military heros had any moral decency, they would see what a **** hole Sadam has made of his potentially wealthy country and lance that f*cking boil.

Maybe cowards is the right word.

One does have to, eventually, take responsibility for their country.

With Iraq this has been difficult given the Stalinisque state Hussein has constructed. However as things destabilize, opportunities rise.
