War without U.N. approval (Not a complete list):

Britain and France - 1956 - invasion of Egypt (Suez Crisis).

U.S.S.R. (Russia) - 1956 - invasion of Hungary, 1968 - invasion of Czechoslovakia.

U.N. crisis:

Korean War (1950-1953) - U.N. approved - China goes to war against U.N. forces in Korea.

Vetos - 1946 - 2003

Russia - 120 (2 since end of Cold War)

U.S. - 76 (10 since end of Cold War)

U.K. - 32 (9 against U.S.)

France - 18 (13 with U.S.)

China - 5

Total: 251

And it should be noted, of course, that the Suez crisis was a disaster for both Britain and France which saw them humilated and caused the fall of the British government of the day.
