Veto a resolution that supports a timeline followed by military action? Good. works for the US as they can use the previous resolution and it's open ended statements as to what tactics can and will be used to ensure compliance. A veto on a second resolution frees the US to do as it pleases under interpretation of previous resolutions.
Gotta love those cheese eating surrender monkeys for the assist:D

Let me try it this way:
Do you realize that a veto means "go for it now"?

Being one that isn't above saying, " I told ya so", does anyone else realize how France forced this hand? They could have not threatened a veto and bought more time. But they left the clause of " serious consequences" from previous resolutions, up to interpretation and the US is acting upon their own interpretation.
