We've just had a warning from the US gov about possible terror attacks on night clubs in Dubai... and it's Paddies night! What to do?

Either there are a couple of Irish in Al Qaeda who understand the vital role Paddies plays in the life of an ex-pat, or the b*stards struck it lucky.

I'm staying in with a 6 pack or three, wake me when it's all over.:)

If they do their research they will see that Ireland (Rep. of) is a neutral country and therefore not supporting the USA or UK. Plus Irelands stint finished on the Security Council recently so its out of the limelight this time around.

If however they do more digging they will see that the Irish gov is allowing US military planes to land in Shannon for refuelling and that this will continue if (when) hostilities break out.

So all in all...stay at home and get drunk in safety.
