Visualise flowing water, streams, riding a Fireblade down an empty M1, etc,.

At least it's empty. A loaded M1 would be dangerous and a bit crowded.

I believe the correct analogy for our colonial cousins would be riding one's Harley down the empty highway.

Yes, the M1 is an American 'freeway' over here. A Fireblade, though doesn't have much in common with a Hog, fine machine that they are though.

Actually, make that the new MV Augusta, or the old Duke 916, Jap bikes are OK, but they lack that junosaykwa.

True, on both counts, but the Harley suits the classic ‘American freedom’ allusion better. :cool:
