Bush talks about a "Moment of Truth" for the world today before he starts the war.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a president for whom truth lasted more than a moment?

Send it to Jay Leno. It sounds like something he would say. :)

Mistakes can be made by both dishonest people and by honest people.

Did Bill Clinton lie about his relationship with Monia L.?

> I would say, yes!

And was BC mistaken in this matter?

> I would say, yes!

Is George W. Bush essentially an honest person?

> I would say, yes!

Is GWB mistaken about the upcoming war with Iraq?

> I would say, yes!

Wrong on two out of three counts.

Personal attacks are not necessarily ad hominums. (spelling?) If I said person X is wrong about subject A because they are a liar, that would be an ad homiunm. But if someone just says that person X is a liar, then it is just a personal attack. Since no argument was presented, this is not an ad hominum.

No strawman either. I don't see an argument here at all. Not even a frame to stand him up on.

Sour grapes? Yes. Personal attacks are the most common flavor of sour grapes.

Now the part about Clinton is interesting. IF Bush is sending us to war based on a lie or lies, that would certainly be worse than what Clinton did. (That is a mighty big if…...) However, comparing the two presidents in this case comes very close to a tu quo quo fallacy. The lies of one cannot be used to justify or defend the lies of the other.
