I install telephone systems for a living. A while back I did a new system for a co. and they changed their securty password settingst on the system.
Long story short - they got hacked over the weekend a few weeks back. They got a bill from the local phone company for $9800. Of course they contacted the co and told them that it was fruad.
They got a list of all the calls.
EVERY phone call was to Saudi or Afghanistan!
Customer contacted the local FBI AND Home land security.
She was told by BOTH agencies that they had NO INTEREST in seeing the bills. Now there is not a way to trace back where the
call was originated, but you would THINK that someone might be interested in seeing the numbers that were called!
Don't you feel much better that we are making America safer?
I know I sleep MUCH better now!
