I don't know why, but I'm troubled by two things. First, I separated abuse of Natives with non-natives. I have no idea why I did it and it bothered me enough to try to clarify.
Then I read Segnosaur's link http://www.lcc.gc.ca/en/themes/mr/i...rep/besrep2.asp
and I see the document is split into aboriginal and non-aboriginal.
While the content of the link is sad, depressing etc, I'm puzzled as to why the distinction is made (and why I made it). I think I made the distinction based on how the media reports it but it's really bugging me.
Any comments?
