The 'fruit' is about the size of a banana, it was shot in balbao park, San Diego apparently.
And we all know what it looks like!

It looks like a philodendron to me.
If I have a chance I'll try and track down some clearer info.

Cor. We used to have one of those growing outside my bedroom door when I was a kid. It never flowered, though. Nice to see :)

The delicious monster has fruit that sprouts up on separate stalks from ground level.
The plant benguin has a photo of has the fruit emerging from the top of the leaf, more like an anthurium, but without the coloured, waxy leaf.
