I guess the Boss wrote some op-ed piece on how he's going to back Kerry this time. He mentioned that he's never been a partison but now he feels its important.
Bill attacks him. Saying that hes full of it when he claims hes never been a partisan. He listed some groups that he backed during hi career.
I think its rich that a guy who says hes an independant to bash Bruce on his fake independant past. Bill is contstantly on the right side of the spectrum, and he still considers himself a non partisan!!!

1. Bill may be on the right side of your spectrum but he is somewhat to the left of mine.
2. Bill presented evidence (assuming your post is correct) that Bruce has, in the past, taken partisan positions. You have (thus far) failed to provide evidence that Bill has done the same, or that he claimed, as Bruce did, that he had not.
3. I don't like Bill very much. He's too liberal for my taste.
Edit 4. I do like Bruce but how can you not! But only for the musical talent, not the politics.

Well everyone takes positions on issues. I for one am for gun rights but that doesnt make me a republican.
Otherwise only people without opinions are non-partisans.

In re:
1. Bill is to the right of me, but Bruce is to my left.
2. Not sure what to say about this. Bruce admits being partison on issues, but staying "one step away" from being partison. I assume he means words to the effect of, "I've kept just short of endorsing a candidate." Don't know how, then, Bill could claim this is bull, if as you said, Tmy is reporting correctly. From Bruce's op ed piece:
"These questions are at the heart of this election: who we are, what we stand for, why we fight. Personally, for the last 25 years I have always stayed one step away from partisan politics. Instead, I have been partisan about a set of ideals: economic justice, civil rights, a humane foreign policy, freedom and a decent life for all of our citizens. This year, however, for many of us the stakes have risen too high to sit this election out."
3. I'm curious on what issues you could consider Bill to be to your left. Obviously I don't know you well, other than what I gather from your previous posts. I don't care for Bill either, not because he's slightly to my rigth, but because he's a bully (among other character traits).
4. Agreed 100% :)
