Brow furrowed, eyes glazed in stone. What deep thoughts provoke him to judgment and endear his firm nude posture to out wandering eyes? So careful is the crafting of David's thoughtfulness and complete intellectual assurance that Michelangelo has fooled the world of art into believing this man to be of merely perfect body, when the real underlying perfection is that of the brain. Reason, logic, compassion. Look carefully at those eyes- all of those traits are there.

Note the detail of the hand and arm: the raised veins of his strong forearm, in stark contrast with the soft suppleness of the wrist. Contradiction seems to be the artist's foray throughout this masterpiece! His large fingers seem capable of any penetration he may choose. They hang relaxed - but at the ready to spring into action against any opponent who may challenge his decision to go naked in public.

You needn't panic. Indeed, this is a sight that greets many a young woman who is beholden to the required servicing of her chosen husband, soon following the exchange of their wedding vows. Most women grow fairly accustomed to this perspective upon receiving the sacrament of Marriage, so relax, and I shall explain what it is about this piece that so interests the curious critic.

Do not be fooled by the desiccant stub that you see! Michael Angelo has carefully milled David's erectile organ, perhaps over the course of several months to spare us no detail. See how the left testis (viewer's right) is slightly more descended than the right (viewer's left). A perfectly shaped mess of God-knows-what sits like Jesus' crown of thorns atop his entire Manhood. (There were no beard-trimmers in those days, though Da Vinci produced some drawings of one.)

Look closely at the picture: to create the perfect mass of deep, plush bush - amorphous yet symmetrical - is alone a grand work of art. It was, in fact, at the Pope's intervention that the moan-shaft be so modest and shrunken, rather than sculpted the way Angelo wished, in full-thunderous display, a defiantly visible monster for all the world to see. To this end, we can be thankful for the sage judgment of the Church, believers and skeptics alike.

Even from this angle, one must conclude that surely this cannot be the work of some cheap, manufacturing tradesman! See the slight groove in the hips, the curvature of the waist, the gentle slope of King David's hefty rock buttocks. Why, one could scarcely believe such a perfect rump as this would produce daily defecations of the sort required by nature! This is, however, exactly the kind of paradox that Michael Angelo so reveled in: opposing truths in perfect balance, each in their prime and true unto themselves. Imagine- the perfect arse producing only the vilest of foul droppings. The genius falls down upon us from across the centuries!

In this, his greatest example of sculptured stone, Michael Angelou has formed a wondrous head, magnificent limbs, a glorious genital region, and a splendid rear-end for all to enjoy.

If you ask me, The David is truly a piece of work.

Sir, you can't troll successfully if you go at more than 5 knots. I clocked your post here closer to 14 knots.

Take a deep breath, slow down, and try something a little more subtle.

Or better yet - order a pizza instead.
