This is just good broadcasting as far as I am concerned.

At C-Span, you get the "whole picture" no matter how dreadfully boring or informative. The other networks give you slices of speeches spun into a handbaked basketed full of mill ground ideas loaved up fresh for viewer consumption.
I watched and listened to Lt. John Kerry give that speech, and I could easily vote for a man who held those same beliefs today.
I think once you realize the real nature of War, you want to KEEP it from happening at all lengths, and so a freshly removed from battle young articulate solider got to speak before a congressional committee.
I felt differently after hearing this testimoney, about Senator John Kerry.
