• The Bush administration is also launching a financial attack on Saddam. The U.S. Treasury Department plans to announce Thursday a plans to freeze Saddam Hussein's financial assets, administration sources tell CNN.

I read this and chuckled. Probably the best move made so far. His money was made illegitimately, after all. Anybody have more information on this?

He's in the "Kings, Queens, and Despots" list.

In announcing this on CNN someone said that the administration was trying to freeze Iran's assets. :eek:
I don't think anyone noticed because there was no immediate correction.

I immediately thought: They haven't done that already? Taking away the illegitimate gains of tyrrants is something I wholly support. They should do that more often.
