View Full Version : Ken bigley - Straw concerned

On the news last night Jack Straw the UK foreign secretary was said to be extremely concerned about the conditions in which Ken Bigley the hostage is being kept.

A video was released showing Mr Bigley chained in a cage wearing an orange jumpsuit. I can’t think where these people get their ideas (http://images.icnetwork.co.uk/upl/mirror/jan2002/1/9/00030AE5-0835-1C4C-A5B980C328EC0182.x-ray) from.

I hope that Mr Bigley is soon released and his captors brought to justice for the sick crimes they have already committed in beheading the two Americans.

Good thing you added that caveat at the end of your post for the morons around here.

Nevertheless, I expect you'll be accused of siding with the terrorists.

You're right. Mr Bigley's predicament is exactly the same as the situation in Abu Ghurayb and entirely justified given criminal acts committed there.

You sink lower and lower down the evolutionary ladder with each post.

Whoa, that was pretty good; prophecy fulfilled in the next post. Manifesto, you oughta try out for the JREF prize. :)

I think you mean Guantanamo Bay not Abu Ghurayb.

The situation with the detainees at Guantanamo Bay and that of Mr Bigley are very very different. I am not suggesting otherwise, it would be insane to do so.

But I think that the kidnappers deliberately choose the orange jumpsuit and the chains and cage very deliberately.

I certainly see the difference but I suspect the kidnappers don’t

And maybe you should apply for admission to the first grade to brush up on your reading skills.

How exactly did the subsequent post fulfil the "prophecy" that:

I expect you'll be accused of siding with the terrorists

???

My bad.

I never even commented on your post, but to the crass one that followed it.

Surely it is what WE make of the statement these scum are making. I'm not going to get agitated by the thought that this is all because of Guantanamo - it isn't. In the absence of orange jump suits it would have been something else.
