Most honest, informed sceptics these days accept that there is an effect.

Your at it again Luci - if you believe in the effect, you are a believer. If you think there is insufficient evidence then you are a sceptic. If you believe it is bogus you are a cynic.

Is it? Or is it a forum for Lucianarchy to talk about his/her favourite subject - Lucianarchy.

BEWARE.

Since accessing the forum above I have received lots of spam. I don't know if Luci collects addresses and sells them to spamers but it is a remarkable coincidence.

Well, you could say the same for the JREF right? Difference is, mine is not biased to either scepticism or parapsychology.

BTW, there is completely no censorship on my forum, apart from illegality.

Same is true here. This board is not "biased" in any way, and anyone can post, but if you allow a free discussion, then sceptics will turn up, and, as a result, the True Believers will want to huddle in their little hutches. Sceptics already have enough forums.

Does illegality include violation of copyright? I see somebody's been posting article text up there.

We have an active forum here to discuss these issues, not sure we need another.

Here you get +ve and -ve discussions about these issues, just getting what you think are +ve discussions seems very limiting.

As you say yourself - "come to my website for +ve discussions RE: these issues then claim no censorship". Without censorship how can you claim the former... doesn't make sense does it ;-).

You'll get my IP address when you prise my cold dead hand off of it.

But seriously, I always respect someone when they set up thei own form on the internet. It's not the easiest thing to do.

It seems a little pointless when there are already so many sceptic and believer forums out there already but good luck Luci anyway. You've taken the trouble to raise some issues for your forum and I hope you get lots of visitors.

And if you really only ban people for illegality then that's more impressive.

I still think you work for Rupert Murdoch though...

There has been a year long investigation into corruption in this forum and we can now reveal the overall perpetrator. Her name is Lucianarchy

Lucianarchy has now been exposed and proven to be a cheap spammer, liar and fraud.

She is not a skeptic at all. You have been conned. Under investigation, now she has been caught. She has confessed that she tracks people who visit the website she spams this forum with and it is very likely that she sells the information to other spammers. So if you are getting lots of spam, porn, or hacks after visiting her website it is very likely that it is due to Lucianarchy .

Do not click on any link supplies by Lucianarchy , unless you want your personal information sold to spammers and porn merchants

Strange the boards look pretty simple to put up and definetly do collect ip info. Who is the admin then ?

Interesting. But yesterday, all the forums were edited, and almost all the posts started, by one Lucianarchy. Today, the same is true of one "sonja".

Does Lucianarchy have a girlfriend, or merely a sock puppet?

Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded.

I further note that people posting on that forum are likely to have their posts altered and details abused.

As the Doc said, Luci's has changed her own details including the date she registered.

Sonja is now attributed with Luci's posts in voilation of the rule

You also agree to NEVER use another member's account to post messages or browse this forum.

Ban Sonja, if you have any integrety, for clearly violating this rule. Oh hang on it was your post, and yet poor Sonja is now credited with it.
You should be banned, for voilating a forum rule.

I am not joining a forum that clearly abuses its own rules. When you are banned I will reconsider.

I further note today I have has 8 more spam e-mails.

Heehee, my ISP implemented a spam filter from sept. 1st. I used to get between 5 and 20 spam mails on an ordinary day. Now I consistently get ... zero :D.

They just retained a customer.

I run my own mail server and I get over 1000 SPAM mails a day. They get filtered out by the server for the most part, but I do keep an eye on the server reports. It would seem that SPAM numbers as well as mails containing viruses and malicious code in some form or other continue to increase, but as I said, it could just be down to the amount of time my domain name has been live.

It looks like a bit of a forum for 15 year old girls who like cats.

Not that there's anything wrong eith that, but Luci/Sonja, bless him/her is putting up all his usual articles about studies and experiments, and is getting very little response from anyone (except from sceptic).

Elsewhere Luci's forum posters are putting up posts about how they think their cat is psychic because it can sense their moods.

I mean, it's sweet and everything, but I can't help feel Luci was hoping for a different type of visitor.

It's not exactly a debate about hard science.

Same thing happened to me: I went from over a hundred spam mails a day down to about 15. However, I have recently seen that some non-spam mail is also getting caught and neither I nor the sender get a notice. It is a bit of a problem that I do not know how to solve: I like the spamfilter.

I hate to be cynical, but I suspect a debate about hard science is the last thing Luci wants.

It will be interesting to see if any material opposed to the paranormal is allowed to persist on the board (assuming anybody can be bothered to post any) or if it gets deleted, err edited to avoid potential litigation

I'm not looking at that forum again.

Luci has just created his own forum so he can repeat all the same tired old things he says over and over, but with less people to critique his theories and beliefs.

Same old police/psychic rubbish. It's been debunked over and over, but still he pushes it, based on about three quotes in the entire world.

I'd love to know who, exactly, at Scotland Yard confirmed the repeated use of a psychic and the reference to a psychic database (especially as it contradicts every other police statement on the subject). I somehow doubt that person actually exists and a lazy journalist didn't check.

If anyone can be bothered to let Luci know this the 'Mrs Evans' in the BBC Press Release that he keeps linking to is actually this woman:

Information about Sue Evans - Fraud or Psychic - you decide (http://www.thisisammanford.co.uk/ammanford/archive/2002/10/11/news1034341210ZM.html)
She tried to get involved in the Milly Dowler case in 2002 (another high profile media case with a large cash reward).

Current status of case:
Unsolved (http://www.surrey.police.uk/news_milly.asp?artid=2157)

By the way this (from the first link) is how Mrs Evans claims her authenticity (I have just cut and pasted this, I couldnt make it up):
Sue also had to prove herself as a genuine psychic in a test conducted by Spirit & Destiny magazine, this month.

As a medium and tarot card reader she had to go head-to-head with a clairvoyant and give as much detail about the life and personality of a mystery person who they had never met before.

Sue said: "32 of my statements were true, the clairvoyant only managed to get 24 right.

"I was the clear winner proving my authenticity."

Speechless?

This certainly sounds like the sort of person we want involved in murder investigations.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, Esther. Apparently, if you tried to register under 'Esther', then the problem would be that someone has already taken that name. Try another user name.

Except someone claiming to be michael pennington, who trolled some UK boards claiming to be a ghost has signed up.

Dr A - you absolute sod.

I suddenly see a thread at the top of the Skepticism Forum with Lucianarchy's name as the topic starter... well, it was unsettling.

Wonder what he's up to now?

Probably reduced to going door to door these days handing out badly printed flyers about 'Ladybrook'.
Or hanging around Britney Spears forums trying to drag the subject round to himself.
