Interesting contents list. Add those percentages.

I noticed that too!

I wonder if 'maybe' they are trying to infer that the percentages are the remainder of the 'product' which isn't water?

no clue. wierd schtuff.

The stuff's been around for a long time. I remember when the "60 Minutes" story aired.

Note, those are just the ACTIVE ingredients. Makes you wonder what canal they dredge it out of.

OK. ...out of which canal they dredge it.

Pedants.

The micelle is an extremely small particle that is a very high energy particle with a powerful negative magnetic field
:bs:

--edit: all right, I guess I could have included any of the scientific-sounding jargon they threw out on the same page...

Don't forget they do the XXX Concentrate! Soon they'll be bringing out the Dehydrated XXXX Concentrate (sachets or tablets, especially convenient for campers and hikers).

I thought instant water was hydrogen. Just light.

Since D20 and I suppose DHO is toxic, I wonder when someone will come out with water that is claimed to be more healthy by removing some of the D? It would be a little expensive but not too much considering what people will pay for various brands of water. There would be a lot of good ways to market this to the gullible without crossing the FDA.

@Marting;

I suppose you remember that sppof article put out by some chemistry grads touting the benefits of mono-deuterated water as a prochiral solvent.

Mono-deuterated water = DOH, and they pronounced it as does Homer Simpson.

WTF is this nonsense?

I think the fact that these loons didn't realize 60 Minutes were basically making fun of them is comedy platinum.

Seriously, though - the fact this nonsense is made in my home state is enough to make me yak.

Nah! The REALLY scary stuff out there is this...

From the Willards Water site:

One of the questions often asked about Willard Water is, "What is the difference between Dr. Willard's Water (Clear) and Dr. Willard's Water XXX (Dark)?" Actually, there is very little difference between the two products. Both contain the same ingredients and can be used interchangeably.

Ha! "increase agriculture production" and "remove stubborn stains"! Isn't Dihydrogen Monoxide fairly effective at these?

It's certainly the best treatment there is for a recent burn, the colder the better.

A get-rich-quick-scheme that works? Always rember, there is one born every minute! Hell, for a while I made plans to sell occult stuff over the the net. There are huge profits to make on stuff like that!

Thank God. I've dealt with enough conspiracy wackos in the past, though, where it actually came off almost legitimate.

The guy that runs the site is a good egg! I emailed him to let him know that I'd put up a link to him on the front page of the Voodoo site, peripheral relevance really but too funny not to mention. He then emailed me to say how funny the Voodoo site was, and trying to figure how he could work in a link from dhmo. This is of course a good way to my heart!

It's a total scream.

We've done the DHMO thing here before. I recall being shocked that there was no mention of the equally dangerous Oxygen Dihydride, which kills thousands of people every day, often by simple inhalation.

But that's the beneficial stuff! (http://www.armory.com/~crisper/DHMO/)

Oops, no, that's Hydrogen hydroxide! So hard to keep all these complex chemicals straight.

I participate in a listserv that deals with my oldest's disability. A while ago in reaction to all the nutball posts on "metal toxicity" and "cranial sacral therapy" with accomanying links, I sent in a message about being careful what you read on the Internet. Of course I had the link to DHMO in it.

Sigh... I got a few responses of those who thought it was funny/informative and at least 2 who were very very mad at me.
