I mean when you momentarily (or perhaps a short time longer) have pain & then it goes away, not to return?
For example, a few weeks ago I had a rather sharp pain in one of my fingers that lasted maybe five minutes. Being a slight hypochondriac, I naturally thought it the start of a malady of some sort. Then it went away as mysteriously as it came. And mostly I recall a very painful spot that occured on my right arm, below my elbow, so painful I recall it decades later. 15 minutes tops & gone...never had a pain there since.
Are such things some kind of "electrical impulses" or "misfirings" in the body at work?
