"Here is the man who first alerted the world to the horrors of Saddam Hussein by going to the village of Halabja and finding the Kurds gassed there. And this guy dies in the war that is meant to overthrow Saddam Hussein, not through the guns of Saddam Hussein but now we clearly know through so-called friendly fire."
Have you lot heard about this?

But that same moment, very heavy gun fire started towards my car from the right hand side and I had to duck down straight away - windows exploding, everything exploding inside the car, a split second and I looked to the right and the right door where my correspondent was and it was open and he was not there anymore.
Here (http://media.guardian.co.uk/broadcast/story/0,7493,920393,00.html) is the bloke that escaped.

The British journalist was killed by US bullets. It was clear that all the gun fire started from the US-soldiers side as the camera man has pointed it out.
"We passed on the left hand side a big British artillery position tanks and right outside were some Americans
In fact, the car (with a huge TV label on it) had bullets in the right side of it.
It is terrible that people have died because of this kind of errors.

"We passed on the left hand side a big British artillery position tanks and right outside were some Americans and we drive a bit further on the road and then there is a bridge and almost when we got to the bridge we saw some Iraqi soldiers coming towards our direction. They were still carrying weapons. So I thought it was a better idea to do a 'u-ie' and turn back straight away, so that's what we did. We turned back.
That means the Brits were on the right when the firing started, since the journalists had turned around and were coming back.
Americans on the right when going out means Americans on the left when coming back. Bullet holes in the right side of the car wouldn't be American then.
This is just using Q-source logic. I don't believe any of it. The Iraqis probably shot them.

Read this piece of information

The chief executive of ITV said:
"And this guy dies in the war that is meant to overthrow Saddam Hussein, not through the guns of Saddam Hussein but now we clearly know through so-called friendly fire."
He may be wrong but what about Demoustier:
Cameraman Daniel Demoustier, who escaped with injuries, said they were hit by "friendly fire" aimed at two nearby vehicles containing about a dozen Iraqi soldiers who were killed.

Not to be picky, but you said "U.S. bullets" to make a misguided point or something. Aren't the Brits friendly also? Aren't their bullets friendly as well? Are you mad at the U.S. because Blair voluntarily decided to accompany us on this "milk run"?
