This link shows you how the post-Iraq war leads to Armageddon
the Book of Revelation, the rapture and so forth.
I felt like sharing it with everyone here:

Funny, at the beginning of the last gulf war, there were tons of christians convinced it was part of the end times and such and they had everything mapped out.
These end-times looneys have a worse record than psychics for predicting the end.

If the Iraq war leads directly to Armageddon, than it seems obvious to me that George Bush is likely the Anti-Christ spoken of in Revelations...won't Jerry, Pat and the boys be surprised and embarassed when he reveals himself and fulfills prophesy.

The bible also says that nobody knows exactly when the end of the world will happen. By that logic nobody can put a solid date on it.

<font color=red>You are right. George Bush would have to be the Anti-Christ. That would not jive with bible prophecy as the USA is not the location of where the *Anti-Christ* is supposed to hail from.

I've read another book that says the distruction of Earth will herald the coming of a galactic expressway. That's about as valid a prediction as anything else....
(can anyone name that book?)

Technically, a galactic bypass. The Vogons and all that. I'm living that dream right now here in the hub of the solar system, as they call it.

Oh. okay, but which age? We are currently in the Information Age, which was preceeded by the Nuclear Age, preceeded by the Rocket Age, and so on,
Perhaps the age referred to in the Bible has already ended? Armageddon came and went and no one noticed, maybe? Perhaps the Iron Age is the "age" mentioned in the Bible?

No one noticed because God set it up so that those left behind wouldn't miss the ones raptured. So you see, the Rapture has occurred. Billiefan2000 got left behind with the rest of us. It's so easy to be blinded by your own apostasy, Billiefan. Satan has tricked you!
edited to correct spelling error
Teal Redmann also got left behind.

*sigh*
I should not be allowed to (mis)quote books that I don't have on hand and haven't read in a decade.

"The end of the age" refers to the close of the Jewish dispensation.
According to the preterist view, Armageddon has already happened. Many Christians hold this view. They say that the second coming and end of the age etc. all occured before and up to 70 AD when Rome conquered the land of Judea. It makes a lot more sense than what the *last days* believers promote.

Really. You learn something new every day, I guess.
I'm interested in reading more about this POV. Do you have a link you can share?
