IRAQI Information Minister Mohammad Said al-Sahhaf has dismissed as "lies" US charges that Baghdad was receiving technical advice from Russian experts on how to jam British and US military hardware.
...
The White House said yesterday it had "credible evidence" that Russian companies sold Iraq night-vision goggles, anti-tank weapons, and technology to jam satellite signals that US-led forces could use to guide bombs and military aircraft.

SIX satellite jamming devices, which Iraq was using to try to thwart American precision guided weapons, were destroyed and have had "no effect" on US military operations, a US general said.

I am not so sure those devices would be much good anyway.

The JDAM bombs that are being used have both inertial and GPS guidance, and the GPS jamming is only effective when the bomb gets close to the target and by that time the interial guidance should be able to adequately take over the rest of the job.

I hope they didn't pay too much for them, The Russian company may be laughing its head off, they were probably broken microwave ovens with "gps Jammer" written on the front:)
