1. Do you all think it ever existed (in any shape or form)?
if so...
2. Do you think it was in the Atlantic, or the Med?
3. Could this be it?
I'm not saying I buy this. Just getting some discussion going, :) .

It's a story, and has its synonyms in many different cultures. The whole 'doomed utopia' legend has been told over and over again, and seems as much a part of human culture as the end-days myth or the genesis myth.
Plato never meant it to be taken as truth. The poor guy must be turning in his grave over the endless Atalantis revivals.

"We have definitely found the Acropolis of Atlantis," he affirmed, adding the site was 80 kilometers (50 miles) southeast of Cyprus"
EEEEEuuuu k.
Reminds me of the Library scene in ghost busters 1 ,Ackroid " Look , symmetrical book stacking." Murry " Your right Ray no human could stack books like that!".
Athon is correct.
Joesph Campbell writes about the commonality of myths across different cultures. The hero's Journey. It's kind of an observation of the Jungian Archetype. All cultures have creation myths even disparate ones, that are remarkably similar. Most also have a Lost City, culture , whatever about a place or sanctuary that was lost because of wicked or counter productive behavior...Sound like Adam and Eve? Paradise lost?
Funny Guy that Joe.
