Anyone signed up yet? I don't see a JREF team, and I held off creating one just in case we would want a more "official" team lead. But I'd be happy to create a team if anyone else is interested.

World Community Grid's mission is to create the largest public computing grid benefiting humanity. Our work is built on the belief that technological innovation combined with visionary scientific research and large-scale volunteerism can change our world for the better. Our success depends on individuals - like you - collectively contributing their unused computer time.

A lot of us have SETI screensavers running, there is a Randi group there ... not heard of this one.

Personally I feel SETI is a waste of time so I prefer running clients from The Human Proteome Folding Project (http://www.grid.org/projects/hpf/) or The Cancer Research Project (http://www.grid.org/projects/cancer/) or Folding At Home (http://www.stanford.edu/group/pandegroup/folding/).

Yes, let's have a JREF Team.

We really do need a more official response as it would be nice to have the website address and use of the official logo.

I'm reporting this thread in the hope that it gets a response. If I annoy anyone...I appologise in advance.

Can others pester Randi with some emails, it will be well worth him putting our team in his weekly commentary. I'm probably in enough trouble
:D
