I have been hearing reports on the news of an iraqi troop dressed in coalition uniforms massacreing fellow iraqis who tried to surrender.
However, I have not heard one shred of tangible evidence to support it.
Do Iraqi irregulars really beleive US troops speak fluent local dialects, carry AK-47s, and are mostly arab in their skin and facial features?
I have a hard time believing this report.

Nowhere. It's all in Donald Rumsfeld's head.

THE WASHINGTON TIMES
Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein is planning attacks on his own people in the event of a U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, and his top operative, a general nicknamed "Chemical Ali," has been put in charge of southern Iraq to quell any civilian uprisings, U.S. officials say.

U.S. military officials say there are increasing indications that Saddam will kill his own people and blame the atrocities on invading American forces.
Bush administration officials reported last week that Saddam was planning to dress Iraqi forces in coalition uniforms and order them to kill innocents. However, they are dressing up in civvies.

CAMP AS SAYLIYAH, Qatar --

The coalition encountered pockets of determined resistance by irregular Iraqi forces who in some cases fought in civilian clothes or in modified commercial vehicles," said U.S. Brig. Gen. Vince Brooks. "These encounters were most intense in the area north of An Nasiriyah, where coalition forces did sustain casualties."

Also, is it possible you've been hearing garbled reports about some kind of uprising that's supposedly taking place in Basra, where Iraqi troops in the city are reportedly firing on Iraqi civilians who are staging an uprising?

Newscorp is running the surrender/massacre story. Sorry - just a link, please? It's not on a front page, I think.
