EU officials implore new immigrants to learn 'European values' - Friday, November 19, 2004 (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/news/archive/2004/11/19/international1346EST0547.DTL&type=printable) European Union justice and interior ministers agreed Friday that new immigrants to the 25-nation bloc should be required to learn local languages, and to adhere to general "European values" that will guide them toward better integration.

Dutch immigration minister Rita Verdonk, who chaired the meeting, said all countries agreed to make integrating newcomers a priority, considering the growing ethnic tensions as EU nations struggle to absorb a steady stream of poor, mostly Muslim immigrants.This is just the beginning. Bans on religious symbols, requirements to learn the language, requirements to learn 'European' values. Justice and interior ministers discussing what to do about the ethnic tensions. It's not that I am anti-muslim but the backlash against Muslims has begun in earnest, mark my words.

Yes. And the europeans will fall all overthemselves to say that the laws are not directed at muslems and apologise and then another Madrid will happen and they will have a pogram. After all, the acorn does not fall far from the tree.:D

Oh, the pogram will be justified too by saying that it was not directed at muslems. Psychologists will end up owning 85% of the European Landmass. They will all end up jumping off a cliff. That is my specific prediction.
