I've noticed over time that no matter where I go I always see people that look exactly like someone else I know.

For a while I just took at as a random gene selection and that there was some biological mold someplace that just kept coming up at random.

then I started to consider the fact that a lot of happily married couple or couples that enjoy one another, usually look very much alike. This is caused by them being so close to one another all the time and sharing facial expressions through laughing and talking....this is true ! You can notice this walking in public or in people that have been together for a while...they look and act very similar.

so with that......I began to consider that my theory about a biological mold wasnt totally correct.

then I considered the fact that most retarded kids (mongoloids, down syndrome) all looked the same........was it just the extra chromosome ?........or was it because of the way their brain functioned.....?

then I began to notice that ALOT of people who do no have downs syndrome actually LOOK downs syndrome......so I wondered further.....

then I started to see that alot of people that had certain religious or political beliefs actually had a look to them......a certain facial detailing that I keep seeing repeated....

so I'm thinking that a persons attitude and belief system begins to mold their facial structure over time and ESPECIALLY after many years of the same attitude and belief system.

its interesting to me....

I keep forgetting that this forum isn't a place where discussion happens !

silly me.....

just when I think I can talk with people about observations of mine on james randi's science forum, I forget how assuming and cliqued the crowd is here.

thanks for the refreshment !

Assuming that the 'gullible' gene is mixed in with the 'brown hair' gene, then yes: homeopaths are more likely to have brown hair!

(assuming):D

So the fact that many couples look alike isn't all that surprising. (I'm pretty certain that there's been research done on this, but I can't be @rsed to look it up.)

then I began to notice that ALOT of people who do no have downs syndrome actually LOOK downs syndrome......so I wondered further.....Wow, people come in all shapes and sizes, what a revelation!

its interesting to me.... Anecdotal evidence, without photographs it's impossible to verify anything that you said in that last section.

It's not that people here don't want to discuss things. But when you come along with nothing but anecdote and wild speculation on subjects that you obviously don't have any clue about, the general reaction is going to be, "Oh no, not another prat!" and you'll get dismissive responses.

If you were to phrase you question in a way that invited a reasoned response, instead of just posting a rambling self-congratulatory monologue you might get somewhere.

Of course, if you were to look into the subject yourself you might not need to post such drivel in the first place.

Well, it would be good for him to distinguish between his own viewpoint and phrenology for starters.

But people DO look like their dogs :) :) :) :)
