Damn that's annoying - I find torrents a great way to get stuff, such as my Mandrake Linux distributions.
I wonder will they go after the post office next since they can be used to send copied movies?

That's more than a little disingenuous. The prosecutors in question have stated explicitly that they will not go after makers or users of bt clients. They are, as you have pointed out, used for several legitimate purposes.
Suprnova, on the other hand, was used for hosting (and possibly tracking?) torrents of almost exclusively illegal stuff. Not just the movies (which is what they were had for, as I understand it) but games, applications, music, and so on. In these broadband days, it is quite realistic to download a whole 4GiB movie as a DVD rip.
Unlike the Napster thing, where it was impossible to separate client and server, here it is quite possible to let the bt users keep doing their legitimate stuff, via legitimate trackers, and just go after those tracking 'bad' things.
Anyway, there is still the suprnova mirror, which was up and running last I checked.:D
Cheers,
Rat.

I don't think they hosted anything except pointers to where the torrents were located.
Kinda like if you told me where I could go find stolen property that you didn't steal, but had been told where it was.
Anyway, there are others out there.

Well...
Suprnova is not completely dead.
There is a mirror that is still up, you just have to do a little bit of poking around.

As I said, indeed.

So what's the URL? Do share.

Are you asking me to post the address of a place sharing illegal torrents in a public forum?
Cheers,
Rat.

Ok, here is the mirror:
bi-torrent
And I will say it is a .com
Also, if you are looking for specific torrents, google can help.
Just run a search like this:
(Insert Filename Here) filetype:torrent
And yes, you must have filetype:torrent along with your filename or it won't work.

I have no problems with downloading stuff that isn't available here.
Because if I can't buy it, than I will just have to download it.

Suprnova is owned by a Slovenian.
