Havent haerd much about Afgan. lately. After pustingteh Taliban we put in whats his face as president. With the promis of free elections once everthing was under control. Has there been any movement towards democractic elections?

Well, there are still a couple of Germans down there to ... yeah, to do what, actually? What I've heard and read you got a whole lot of different factions with tribal bounds or led by some War Lord who is busy getting his opium growing business (Afghanistan's biggest means of income) back under control. they simply seem to have no interest in getting a centralized government. You let the people vote and one of them big shots gets elected, the others say "f*ck him, who's he to tell me my way!"

Oh, and the fact that the country is simply sort of like completely kaputt.
