This just in from Hong Kong, without a notarized signature.
I have asked this applicant to send a new application with the proper notarization or signature confirmation. I have also made him/her aware that predictions must be VERY precise if they are to be accepted, as in WHEN, WHERE and HOW they are to be realized.

Following the recent Tsunami disasters, I'm sure the JREF will soon be flooded with claim letters from applicants swearing that they foresaw everything only days before...

Dear Mr. Randi,

With the supernatural ability of fortune-telling, I would like to suggest myself for the right person you look for.

My surename is LO and I live in Hong Kong. I am gifted that when I am in a deep sleep, I can foresee what would happen in the future. Many years ago, I could see there were people cooking the books in some big companies such as World Com and Emmor from the newspaper in my dreams. After some years, that really happened. I had told my colleagues about my dreams and they recalled the memories which I had really correctly predicted that. There are a lot of examples showing I do have the ability to foretell the future. I would be appreciated if I could share the experiences with you in person.

If you have any doubts about my ability, you are welcomed to test it. I am ready for the hypnosis test.

Yours, Sincerely, LO MOON YEE

Anyone wanna bet the next letter I get will claim to have predicted the Tsunamis?

Someone should have taken my bet.

We've had no response from this applicant since I responded to his un-notarized application 4 months ago.

Dear Mr. Yee,

As we have received no response to our correspondence regarding your paranormal claim, and as you have not submitted a properly notarized Challenge application, we are now closing your file.

Please feel free to re-apply in one year in accordance with the Challenge rules.
