Over in this (http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=51004) thread, these words made me laugh out loud:
Williams said Thursday he understands that critics could find the arrangement unethical, but "I wanted to do it because it's something I believe in."
Takes a quarter of a million dollars to put that belief into action?

Whomever authorized the payment needs to be fired and/or prosecuted.
I have no idea if there is a law involved -- as opposed to an ethical breach alone -- but at the very least he/she/they should be out on the street.
