here's my latest UFO question from allexperts. It really isn't UFO, I think, but any help in answering this would be very welcome!

Thanks

I was reading through the archives for fun, and was shocked to see that
some one else has had the same experience as me. At night, I hear
Morse
code repeated over and over. I don’t know the code and it goes so fast
I
can’t write it down. It’s usually about once or twice a month, just
like
the other lady (http://experts.about.com/q/2138/624347.htm). It’s been
five years since she has asked, and I was wondering if anyone else has
heard of this phenomenon since?

Thank you.

I get that all the time. It's called tinnitus. It's either sound similar to dots and dashes or the sound of an ambulance siren wailing right beside my ear. Nothing paranormal about that.

Yeah, I remember having that when I was young. Laying awake at night, trying to figure out if I was picking up transmissions or what. Since I was too lazy to learn morse code I never knew if it was just a noise or a real signal. Now adult tinnitus has overshadowed my childhood tinnitus (if that is what it was) and I'll never know. It really sounded like morse code though. I also heard it in the blank spots between radio stations on the little transistors we used to have. I guess that means they weren't blank spots? Anyway, I'm not sure myself exactly what it was, but tinnitus sounds reasonable, I guess.
