View Full Version : REMINDER: Cassini-Huygens Probe Approaches Titan

Well, the "Huygens" part, anyway, is going to be begin its decent on Saturn's atmospheric moon Titan this week, Jan 14.

Lots of great pics of Saturn too from Cassini.

I don't know about you guys, but I find this sort of thing is really exciting.

I can't wait, either. I just hope it works -- let's face it, the ESA does not exactly have a great track record with landing things.

I saw a proposal for a future Titan probe that would turn into a blimp upon entering the atmosphere, and drift around for a few weeks sending back data. Almost as good as a rover!
