Why, why, it's the MPINGO DISC http://www.shunmook.com/text1.htm of the Cell Phone world.

I wonder if I can get 99 miles/gallon, too. :p

I wonder if there's a cellphone disk that protects your brain from being overrun by silly ideas?

Do these stickers have anything to do with whatever they are selling on this site: http://supergassaver.com/ ?

Nope, that's the old "Magnet on the fuel line" scam.

If you put 1 of each of these fuel saving devices on your car, you will have to stop every day and remove the excess fuel from your tank. :D

Tell me, when these 'molecular clusters' expand, just what is it that fills in the void? Ah-ha!! More molecules! So the molecular clusters become ... molecular clusters.

Wow, I'll buy that for a dollar.

If you get the urge to buy that sticker, send money to my scholarship fund instead.

I hear you can get one that makes your laundry cleaner also.

Or one that doesn't eliminate the need for minutes, but reduces them significantly with great savings to you, the sucker, er, I mean customer!

Seriously, it there any GOOD way that you can think of to boost celphone reception? Short of carrying around an improvised Pringles can antenna ...

If only all the ********* that con artists sell could be burned, it would solve all our fuel problems. :D

I think the notion that the slashdotters fell for this idea is a little....

overstated.

They ripped it apart.

I just sent the Mpingo guy the following e-mail:

"I find your products interesting. That means I can e-mail you, right?"

(read the top of the page if you don't know why I found that funny)

That action sure beats the Pringles can antenna...which has been evaluated by several microwave oriented hams and found wanting. Eat the Pringles and toss the can.

You know, we could make some serious money if we could figure aout some way around the "ethics" thing.

Come to think of it, perhaps the most remarkable achievement of these guys is their ability to do just that.
