I have to agree, Randi has it right, this is the lamest audiophilic device that I have ever seen described.
I mean, even expensive CD-wipes at least clean the (rule 8) CD.
This thing goes ON TOP OF THE PLAYER!?!? and can tell what's on the CD and AFFECT IT from there?
Ok, ok, I have a policy of never ever commenting on individual products, and I'm about to break that rule.
This product is (multiple, egregious violations of Rule 8).
'Nuff said?

I (rule 8) agree.

I actually have a rock that does the same thing! ;)
I wonder if would work on a disc of MP3s?
I notice they don't claim that it will make your DVDs look better too.

Hey, I tried the rock idea. Let me tell you, it worked GREAT! I applied said rock to my niece's (rule 8) boy band CD and now it sounds much, much better.

MACHINA DYNAMICA's website (http://www.machinadynamica.com/) has a few other "interesting" audio equipments. Check out the ultra tweeter. Only $400, and they operate on the GigaHertz band!
To quote the site,
Rather than produce acoustic energy, as one might expect, Ultra Tweeters actually organize and improve the energy flow in signal conductors, making the audio system perform more efficiently and synergistically.
I gotta get me into the sound bettermakin' business.
First product:....Resonance Toothfloss! Great for.....uh.....Reasonance! As it improves the flow of energies to your teeth, vibrating your skull, and improving bass!
Your for only 10$ per foot! what a deal!

Does anyone else think his little device looks an a lot like the casing for a memory card?

What? I don't see it. See, a memory card is usually smooth, and this has a blue label taped to it..see? Completely different. :D

Be careful out there, something either on that site or linked from it tried to install some crapware on me.
But, yes I went to where I knew the firewall was good (and double) and looked at it.
The "gigahertz tweeter" just has to be a joke. It has to be. It MUST be a joke. Nobody is that silly! NOBODY!
Really? Please? Tell me that?

Hmm, I wonder if I could market another kind of chip as an audio improvement device. You know, the kind of chip that comes from bovines, and that some people take great pains to hurl as far as they can in certain competitions in rural areas?
Maybe I'd call it the Audibull.

You guys make me sick! You all just assume that these hi-tech devices don't work only because you don't have the education, smarts, or sensitivity to understand the quantum underpinnings of the designs.
You probably think that my psi-harmonic crystal re-energizer and paravibration filtration charger doesn't work either....

You'd have to be a High Energy Scientist™ to understand it.

Seems almost plausible compared to the 'Magic Ring'. It works if you put it, well, anywhere around anything!

The guy who wrote that review does't understand that CD's are DIGITAL.
Why do I work for a living? I should be selling bridges to people like him.

I know, I know, underdog, but at least other people on the asylum stand up and point at the absurdity of it all.

In defense of the audio asylum, I do offer up this thread, as well:
http://www.audioasylum.com/audio/general/messages/366731.html
It has a lot of woo on it, but it also has a group of people who have pretty good BS detectors. Unfortunately, it's pointless to try to teach there any more, a few creeps just run up and screaim 'tain't so" every time somebody tries to teach something.
I've given up on it, but ask people about "high frequency phase and the sampling theorem" if you have the stomach.

I've been using the Golden Sound Intelligent Chip on archive data tapes for my employer's many-many-terrabyte storage network, and let me tell you, the kachunk sound of the tape librarian robot at work has greater dynamics, spacial presentation, and resolution!
Usually, when you take large encrypted databases and play them back as audio, it sounds like really nasty screeching white noise. Well, after the Intelligent Chip, it sounds like really nasty screeching white noise with greater dynamics, spacial presentation, and resolution!
Poor "Wellfed (A)" probably still has no clue what a double blind test is.

I'm thinking that the "intelligent chip" is far more intelligent that those that purchase it. :)

Wellfed is still waiting for Mr. Randi to respond to Wellfed's correspondence stating his desire to take the Million Dollar Challenge. Wellfed will know plenty about DBT's after that event takes place. :D

Here's (http://www.randi.org/research/faq.html#4.1) the right way to apply. Except that right now I believe KRAMER might be taking some time off. Still, corresponding with Randi is the wrong way to go about it.
