Of COURSE Sylvia Brown is a fraud....because the BIBLE tells me so. Sheesh.

To believe in a particular religion you have to be skeptic of the other religions :D

After a few posts, someone says she was given her gifts from God! Even better! Slight flaming ensues. This is the Religious Right? Fantastic!

I like this one:

"From what Ive studied, psychics and prophets are a bit different. Psychics have a gift that God did give them, but it has been perverted and not used for Gods intended purpose which is to speak what thus says the Lord. From what Ive been taught, their gifts have been perverted by a familiar spirit which predicts the future and this is what the difference is. It is a demonic entity which is speaking through the psychic instead of the way it should be which is God speaking through the prophet with what He is saying."

*emphasis mine*

I knew all along that something was wrong with Sylvia Brown...

You know it might be funnier if I went in there and said "I know the Bible is a fraud because Sylvia Brown told me so."

Hey, makes just as much sense.

I recommend that everyone check out the thread again. It's getting interesting.

There is an apparent Bible scholar picking apart different verses. He speaks like a skeptic by saying that there is no empirical evidence for the ability to predict the future. He uses the Bible as further evidence. Just strikes me as funny.

I only read the first of the four pages. Christians have a unique way of disagreeing with each other that is disagreeable. :D

Some might say I partition my growing skepticism since I am a Christian, but I ask a lot of questions and I will come to my own conclusions. For me, I'm trying to get a view of the big picture. It's interesting that Sylvia hasn't come through regarding the $1MM Challenge.

I posted there several times on page 4, I think I effectively derailed the topic. Let me know what you think of my evil work :D

If it's a Christian message board, you're likely to get banned for that.
