Does anyone else think it's strange that the road signs in Iraq are in English? I guess if you're going to be invaded by english-speaking soldiers you don't want them to get lost!

In most of the world, road signs--and many other signs, for that matter--are in both the local language and English (or French) in addition.

I knew this was true in Europe (and India) but I never expected it in Iraq. I wonder how many tourists they get?
