Well, you've tried twice, but you don't seem to be getting the syllable count correct. try these:

if bite is too big
for little fish to swallow
it must be the net

poetry is harsh
an inglorious curtain
what does that mean, hmm

Those are pretty rough, but haiku has never been my strength.
